Waterloo FC provide an exciting year round Coaching and Education Programme for children and young people, living in the London Borough’s of Lambeth and Southwark in South East London. The Club is committed to training young people in the community, to enable them to improve the quality of their lives by providing opportunities to increase their fitness and assist them to achieve their goals.
Activities have been developed around a structured football coaching and physical fitness programme, which supports young peoples learning and develops their life skills, self-expression and growth.
The Club has developed their education programme by providing weekly activities for young people, who come from a range of diverse backgrounds and communities.
Season 2011/12
In the Football Season 2011/12, Waterloo FC teams have competed within the Tandridge Youth Football League, Tandridge League Cup and the London FA Youth Cup. A massive congratulations to Waterloo Under 15's London FA County Cup Champions and Tandridge Youth League Cup Champions 2012!
FA Charter Standard
Waterloo FC achieved the Football Association [FA] Charter Standard Club Award in 2004.
The FA Charter Standard is awarded to clubs who display a commitment to delivering a quality experience to its players and ensuring best practice in standards of coaching, child protection, first aid and administration. As a benchmark for quality, the CS improves the playing experience for all and ensures a safe and pleasant environment for all young players.
